Well I would just like to start things off by saying HOLY CATS!!!! For those of you who listened to General Conference you will know what I am talking about. I would like to include some of my favorite conference quotes;

"Be strong, live the gospel" Elder Holland
"We must defend our beliefs, with compassion and charity, but we must defend them!" Elder Holland
"The only true filter that there is, is a deep and abiding testimony of Jesus Christ" Sister Reeves
"The world will not glide comfortably towards the second coming" Elder Anderson
"Where is our faith?" Elder Nelson
There are many others I could put up but my favorite quote from the whole entire conference was actually repeated twice both by Elder Nelson and by the Prophet, "Courage, not compromise brings the smile of Gods approval."

The most important thing that I learned from this conference is that we must defend our beliefs. We live in a changing world, but we cannot lower our standards to match those of the world, it has never been easy, it was never meant to be easy.

In other news we are teaching the Riquelme Family (the brother of the Elizabeth who got baptized last month) We met with them three times this week and they (the parents and 18 year old daughter) have a baptismal date for the 26 of April! On Sunday morning the daughter, Camila was experiencing some pregnant pains and had a fever and really just wasn't feeling good (shes 8 months pregnant) but she was determined to come to church because she loves it (she is the motivating force in her family) So they came and after the Sunday morning session of conference she asked us to give her a blessing of healing.... Well shes got the faith, so we did it. God is pouring out his blessings upon us.
Transfers are coming up in two weeks and since Ive been in this sector for six months not a day passes when someone doesn't ask me, "Elder Hutchins, when are you leaving" WOW thanks guys. But when I arrived I came thinking that I might be able to learn to like this ward, but love it I wasn't too sure, but I have grown to love each and every member and each and every street, each of the barking dogs and the punk English speaking teenagers. I love Chile.

On Wednesday we had lunch with our new convert Oscar and it was simply amazing! He made us some stir fry Chinese style and LOTS of it. We ate and ate and ate and ate, didn't even need to put up a sign that said "FEED ME", I just sat there and got fed. Also Oscar found out that he has an aunt that was a less active member of the church along with he husband and their children. He told us that he told them that he had been meeting with missionaries that bore his testimony (not knowing that they were members) Well long story short, they are not active and he told us that their countenances have completely changed. The work is indeed hastening with each of our efforts. (Especially yours uncle Aaron, keep it up)

Love you all, get ready for winter, its coming.....for me.
Elder Hutchins

PS takes lots of notes when Elder Holland comes.
