Well this week was bangin!!!! Order was finally established to our house. Since I have arrived there has been a constant sink full of dishes, a very dirty bathroom, and we didn't have a map to use in our sector.....Well as of today, all of those things have been accomplished and I feel great! Gods house is a house of order and so ours should be as well.
We ate lunch Tuesday with the Guzman family, less actives, who really want to come back to church and are going to be doing it this following week! They are very interesting people, but they really have the desires. We were walking by their house later on in the week and Brother Guzman stuck his head out of his house and called to us, apparently he had been struggling to put together a table and some chairs that they had just bought for their new house and had begun to loose hope, but as he put it, "You guys just show up whenever we need help" And help we did. I love doing unplanned service.
We also met with a lady whose husband is dying from cancer and she was really disanimated with life. Her dad died four years ago and she still hasn't been able to move on. We shared with her part of the plan that God had for her and for her family and just did our best to cheer her up.
We also gave a few blessings this week to a family whose grandpa committed suicide this week. Really as a missionary and as a disciple of Christ we are called to mourn with those that mourn and comfort those who stand in need of comfort. I think that it the hardest and the more rewarding part of being a disciple of Jesus Christ.
We brought nine people to church to day and so the church assistance grew a bunch, from 56 last week to 67 this week!!! Moving up.
Our investigator Margarita is progressing really well, despite not being able to remember much she is beginning to remember more and more and wants to be baptized. We promised her that she would change as she progressed towards baptism. Well I can testify that she is changing and it is very notable.
Also just so you guys know it rained a ton this week!!! I don't know why, but when it rains i just get filled with energy to work and work and work, I love it!!!!!!!!!
Love all of you
Elder Hutchins
